Origin

The department of English literature was started in the year 2010-2011. The total strength of the course has been raised from 60 to 65 as there was a lot of demand. There is well equipped language lab, qualified professors and compulsory spoken english course for all the first year students to help them become friendly with English.

Coffee House

This coffee house aims at making the literature students speak English , Listen to English, Write English and Read English. Every Monday afternoon at 1:00 pm the Literature students gather to enact literary dramas, characters, speeches and so on.
